May Product Reviews

Instagram is by far my favorite social media!  One of my favorite things to see on Instagram is product reviews.  I recently saw a post that reviewed some new products the girl had tried the previous month and I thought that would make for a fun blog post, so here we are!

In May I tried a few new beauty products.  Please note that I have included links, but they are not affiliate links.

- Humphrey's Cucumber Melon Witch Hazel:  I learned about Witch Hazel on Instagram and when the girl who shared it said it made her skin tone more even and helped with the dark circles under her eyes I was all about trying it.  When I went to Sprouts that weekend the first thing I picked up was Witch Hazel.  I chose the cucumber melon one because it said redness reducing right on the bottle.  Y'all the stuff is AMAZING!  I use a cotton ball to apply it all over my face and neck right after I get out of the shower and right before bed.  It feels so refreshing!  On the nights I do my face mask I put some Witch Hazel on eye make up remover pads and put a pad over each eye for five minutes.  Since I've been using Witch Hazel I'm using way less foundation and concealer because I'm just not needing it.

- Katy Kat Eyeliner in Kitty WhisPURR:  White eye liner on the bottom lid is known to make your eyes pop, so I have been wanting to try it for a while, but I am very picky when it comes to eye liner.  I stumbled across Katy Kat Eyeliner in Target and the pencil looked soft and high quality so I decided to give it a shot!  I'm loving it!  The pencil is very soft and goes on very smoothly.  My only concern is that I don't know how easy it's going to be to sharpen it when the time comes to do so.  Even if it doesn't sharpen well I'm going to be buying it again because I love how soft and smooth is it.

- Sinful Colors Professional Nail Color- Snow Me White: Even though I love going to the nail salon to get my nails done, I very rarely do so I do splurge on nail polish and tend to buy the more expensive ones.  (My favorite is Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure.)  Recently white nail polish has been super popular and I love the way it looks, but wasn't 100% sure I could pull it off.  I really wanted to try it, so I ended up buying Sinful Colors Professional Nail Color in Snow Me White to give it a try.  Now that it's summer and I'm tan I love the white nail polish on my toes!  I'm not a huge fan of the quality of the Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish.  It doesn't go on as smoothly as Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure nail polish does and takes an extra coat to look the way I want it to, but it was $2 so it's a great way to try a new color!

That's it for the new products I used in May.  Check back in July for my review of the new products I used in June!  In the meantime, what new products have you used recently?  I'd love to hear your reviews!
