Greenville, We're Home!
We've known for a month, been here for ten days, and I still can't believe that I'm typing this- we moved back to Greenville, South Carolina! For those of you who don't know I was born and raised in Greenville. The first time I left Greenville was when I went to college in Rock Hill, SC, about an hour and forty-five minutes away. During the summers I lived in Greenville, but after I graduated I moved to Rock Hill. Then Richmond, Virginia, then Seattle, Washington, and then Frisco, Texas-all in the last five years.
Let me tell you friends, this move has been the hardest move of all. I knew it would be hard, but I never imagined it would be this hard. I miss literally everything about Texas, yes, even the heat!
Living in Greenville is like living in the twilight zone- right now it's just beyond bizarre! Each day we are getting a little more settled, a little more into a routine, and I'm sure before long it will feel {almost} normal living here.
To my South (and North) Carolina friends, even though this move has been hard I'm excited to be back and catch up with y'all! To my Texas friends, I miss you more than you know and I cannot wait to plan a trip to see y'all soon!
